Halloween Half Term
Get the most out of nine days dedicated to fiendish family fun with our fabulous 2-for-1-day fancy dress admission offer*. You’ll be able to experience a whole host of themed tricks and treats, including a daily Fancy Dress Competition and a Spooktacular Firework Display on both the 26th and 29th. Younger visitors can hop aboard a spooky train ride at Mischief Mansion or practice their pumpkin carving skills at our Education Centre.
And for the fearless, the Black Heart Galleon will be staging a special hour long live production 'Ghost Ship of Nightmares' show. There are twilight rides on Hero too, providing those brave enough with a truly unique sensation.
Finally, don't miss our eerie-sistible Halloween menus and for anyone wishing to stay a while longer, our Haunted Holiday Village still has availability, where you can also book into our evening Ghost Walk 'Stalk in the Park' with 'scarecharacters' for just £5 per person.
Story Time With Santa & All-New Christmas Market
We are aiming to make your Festive Season even bigger, better and brighter than ever before. For 14 selected days between 26th November and 24th December, Santa and his elves will be taking over the Coach House Grotto to deliver a storytelling spectacular complete with a gift and a photo opportunity for every child (£10 per child, in addition to General Admission to Winter Zoo). As spaces are limited, book your preferred date and time slot now at flamingoland.co.uk. Winter General Admission also includes 5 small rides for younger children, an outdoor play area Children's Planet, Muddy Duck Farm, a sea lion show and our all-new Christmas Market featuring great gift ideas and festive food and drink.
Thrilling Theme Park - open daily until 30th October
If you are looking for white knuckle thrills, there is a sensational collection of 8 extreme rides, including the latest roller coaster Hero that puts visitors in a superhero flying position before swooping them around a track. There is also the Guinness World Record Breaking Mumbo Jumbo, with the steepest drop (2009).
In addition there is a great choice of junior and family rides. All the attractions in Dino-Stone Park have a dinosaur theme. Soar 45 metres into the air on the Pterodactyl swing, spin on the family coaster Twistosaurus and pedal on Cyclosaur. See animatronic dinosaurs, life-size Dino skeletons and search for dinosaur bones in the Dino Dig sand.
Award Winning Animal Collection - also open selected dates over Winter
Flamingo Land is one of the UK’s most visited Zoos (Source: Visit England). With over 140 species of reptiles, mammals and birds, you can enjoy an amazing view of the animal kingdom. A variety of Animal Feeding Times with Keeper Talks and a sea lion show are included within your admission. See the progress of the two Rothschild giraffe calves that were born in 2015. For unrestricted views, meander through the Lemur and Wallaby Walkways.
Short Breaks and Holidays - open daily until 30th October
Flamingo Land is an ideal base for a short break or longer holiday, situated between York and the east coast. The Flamingo Land Holiday Village is situated right next to the theme park, and offers luxury accommodation from holiday homes to premium lodges. And for guests who want to be at the heart of the action, 4 newly refurbished self-catering cottages are now available. Featuring 2 and 3 bedroom options (one with hot tub), you will find these Riverside Cottages conveniently located alongside Riverside One.
Alternatively, you can bring your own touring caravan, motorhome or tent, or buy your own holiday home. Staying guests have exclusive use of the swimming pool and newly refurbished leisure facilities including a new gym, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room and cafe. There is also a 9 hole golf course. The Club is a premium entertainment venue for Holiday Village guests.
