Thrilling Theme Park
If you are looking for white knuckle thrills, there is a sensational collection of 8 extreme rides, including the latest roller coaster Hero that puts visitors in a superhero flying position before swooping them around a track. There is also the Guinness World Record Breaking Mumbo Jumbo, with the steepest drop (2009).
In addition there is a great choice of junior and family rides. All the attractions in Dino-Stone Park have a dinosaur theme. Soar 45 metres into the air on the Pterodactyl swing, spin on the family coaster Twistosaurus and pedal on Cyclosaur. See animatronic dinosaurs, life-size Dino skeletons and search for dinosaur bones in the Dino Dig sand.
There is a packed schedule of shows and acts at Riverside One for both day and resort guests. Relax by an impressive back lit waterfall whilst dining al fresco. This vibrant new outdoor area, featuring an all-weather stage, keeps visitors entertained with fantastic live entertainment every day, including a Farewell Show, celebrity guest concerts and tribute bands. ....

Party in the Park is part of general admission to the park for that day. Alternatively, it is £10 for post 5pm admission for the concert - book on the Flamingo Land website.

Easter Zoo Trail
Across every day of the Easter School Holidays guests can join in the Easter Zoo Trail and complete a sheet whilst walking around our award-winning animal collection. Anyone who completes the trail will receive an Easter themed bag of Haribo sweets.
UK's Most Popular Zoo
You will quickly discover what makes Flamingo Land the UK’s most visited Zoo (Source: Visit England). With over 140 species of reptiles, mammals and birds, including the amazing Penguin Coast, you can enjoy an amazing view of the animal kingdom. A variety of Animal Feeding Times with Keeper Talks and a sea lion show are included within your admission. See the progress of the two Rothschild giraffe calves that were born in 2015. Visit the new mother and baby Black Rhinos that arrived from Zurich in September 2015. These are housed in the newly built Selous Black Rhino Reserve, complete with viewing platform. For unrestricted views, meander through the Lemur and Wallaby Walkways.
New for 2016
Flamingo Land Resort will be doing a new live performance attraction for Summer 2016, which will interact around our guests in Plaza Square intermittently across the day. 'Zanzibar' will be an energetic production show based on the life of swashbuckling pirates on their galleon ship, and will also feature our skilled, sword fighting acrobatic team along with special effects.
The second phase of the leisure complex Run-Gym-Swim has been completed for the start of the 2016 season for staying Resort guests, and will include a larger swimming pool with an infinity pool edge, counter-current swim jets and 2 flume slides.
There is also a newly renovated Gate House situated just before the park entrance for those that wish to stay in a secluded location in the picturesque village of Kirby Misperton. This is our premium accommodation, and expands on our brick build offering. We are also offering a Platinum Plus range of holiday homes for 2016, and expanding into a new field with our range of hire fleet. The Holiday Village is therefore developing considerably.
Flamingo Land will be constructing a presentation venue with elevated platform for those that wish to take part in a new outdoor Giraffe Animal Encounter from Summer 2016. After hearing all about this endangered, spectacular animal, the VIP guests can feed browse to the Rothschild giraffes from the platform.
We are expecting the arrival of another female black rhino Chanua around May 2016, who will join the mother and baby already in residence at the new Black Rhino Selous Reserve, with elevated viewing platform.
Short Breaks and Holidays
Flamingo Land is an ideal base for a short break or longer holiday, situated between York and the east coast. The Flamingo Land Holiday Village is situated right next to the theme park, and offers luxury accommodation from holiday homes to premium lodges. And for guests who want to be at the heart of the action, 4 newly refurbished self-catering cottages are now available. Featuring 2 and 3 bedroom options (one with hot tub), you will find these Riverside Cottages conveniently located alongside Riverside One.
Alternatively, you can bring your own touring caravan, motorhome or tent, or buy your own holiday home. Staying guests have exclusive use of the swimming pool with slide and newly refurbished leisure facilities including a new gym, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room and cafe. There is also a 9 hole golf course. The Club is a premium entertainment venue for Holiday Village guests.
The Mansion House
The Mansion House & Tea Rooms was recently refurbished and allows guests to step back in time and enjoy traditional English refreshments, lovingly served in elegant surroundings. Evening fine dining is also available on selected dates for non-residents and resort guests and is also available to hire for parties and corporate events.
Flamingo Land have recently been granted a license for civil wedding ceremonies in the Mansion House, which is also situated adjacent to the local village church. A wedding could also incorporate animal interaction, such as a lemur experience or being married on the Penguin Coast decking. Christenings and private parties are also welcome.
