Description
The Queen o’ t’ owd Thatch offers delicious, locally sourced and seasonal food, well kept cask ales and an extensive wine and cocktail menu. The regular menu changes are influenced by seasonality and advice from our suppliers about produce that is coming up. We pride ourselves on our welcome, our knowledge and our service and seek to do simple things with excellence.
We have a well planted beer garden providing somewhere pretty to enjoy a drink and meal in the warmer weather, and a developing kitchen garden which provides vegetables, herbs and fruit for the chefs and flowers for the pub. Read the gardening blog on our website theqott.com.
Dogs are welcome in the pub alongside drinkers and diners, and we’ll even provide a blanket.
We hold regular food and drink events such as themed Wine Clubs, Single Malt Club, Cheese and Wine evenings, Cocktail Masterclasses, Gin Tastings and our Annual May Bank Holiday Beer Festival.
This year our Beer Festival coincides with The Tour de Yorkshire which passes through our village for the women’s race and the 2nd stage of the mens’s race on Saturday 30th April. Our website has all the details theqott.com
