Get the festive feeling at King’s Hall, Ilkley on Sunday 18 December and join us for our free Christmas Open Day from 11am – 3pm.
Bring the whole family and enjoy a mince pie and a mulled wine on us while you listen to three choirs performing during the day: including the 90 strong Voices of Yorkshire Choir at 11am and the Ukrainian Christmas Choir at 12pm. Plus at 1pm, the Bring Me Sunshine Trio will be sharing their programme of seasonal music on violin, viola, cello, guitar, percussion and voices.
We need lots of children to hunt the mischievous elves hiding on our shelves and collect a present as a reward. You can also join a guided tour of our traditional Edwardian theatre with access to all areas and a chance to have a look behind the scenes to immerse yourself in the history of King’s Hall and Winter Garden.
As well as having fun you can help to support two local charities: Dementia Friendly Ilkley Action and Ilkley Food Bank in our charity raffle. We have some amazing prizes to be won – you could even win tickets for a family of four to see this year’s Alhambra Theatre Pantomime (Jack and the Beanstalk) – and many other fantastic prizes donated by generous local businesses.
