SISATA presents Shakespeare’s THE TEMPEST
A great storm is coming, bringing trouble to its shores. Prospero’s spells wash ashore the ghosts of his past, triggering strange magical consequences for Miranda, Ariel and Caliban. The human lust for power and control have become toxic, causing devastating pollution, endangering lives and the future of the land itself. Can the tempest crisis unite them to live, love and work with nature to battle the inevitable tide of climate change? Will love win the day?
As an all-time first, this Shakespearean production draws on experiences of climate change in England’s coastal communities.
Bring your picnics, picnic blankets/chairs and suncream and enjoy SISATA’s playful outdoor production of ‘The Tempest’ this summer.
Show running time is approximately 100 minutes
