Close to the North Yorkshire Moors, famous for ‘Heartbeat’ , its beautiful scenery and steam railway. Only an hour away from York with its world renowned Jorvik Centre and beautiful Minster.
Also nearby Whitby and the stately homes of Castle Howard, Sledmere House and Burton Agnes.
