And you can see this tasty export being made at the Wenselydale Creamery in Hawes – as well as enjoying a delicious slice or three! But then good food and great shopping can be found everywhere here. Be sure to pop into the pretty centres of Leyburn and Askrigg for arts, crafts, antiques and mouthwatering Yorkshire fare.

Wensleydale’s scenery is a feast for the eyes too! Walkers will love exploring the rolling green hills and tranquil wooded valleys. While trips to the impressive Aysgarth Falls and Hardraw Force – England’s largest single drop waterfall – are a must.
