Ryedale Vineyards is set on a south facing slope at the foot of the picturesque Yorkshire Wolds, Malton, North Yorkshire.
It is a family run vineyard which produces a delicious range of award winning genuine Yorkshire wines.
Established nine years ago by the owners, Stuart & Elizabeth Smith, Ryedale Vineyards is the culmination of a long held ambition to grow vines and make wine in Yorkshire.
The ten acre vineyard is planted with several different varieties of grapevines which enable the production of a full range of wines – whites, rosés, red and sparkling wine. There is a small winery at the vineyard and only grapes grown on our own vineyards here in Yorkshire are used in the production of the wine.
From the first vintage the wines have been successful in both regional and national competitions and in recent years we have won gold, silver and bronze medals, as well as a series of trophies for our wines.
The wines are available from local farm shops and other outlets, and from the vineyard, but please telephone to ensure there is someone here to help you.
We welcome visitors by arrangement, but are essentially a wine producing vineyard.
Public vineyard tours are run regularly through the summer months, and details appear on our website.
Group visits for 15 – 20 people can be arranged
