Description
Guest Leader Andrew Beer of Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra joins string principals and David Cowan for a concert centred around a performance of Dvořák’s Piano Quintet No. 2 in A major.
This revision of his first quintet uses the styles and forms of songs and dances from Czech folk music interwoven with Dvořák’s trademark lyricism.
Competitively priced pre-concert light lunches are available from 11.30am at the Main Hall.
