Little Shop of Horrors

Little Shop of Horrors is a horror-comedy musical that tells the story of a man-eating plant named Audrey II and the people who become entangled in its deadly web. The musical was first produced in 1982 and has since become a cult classic. Interestingly, the original concept for the musical was inspired by a low-budget film made in 1960. The connection to Yorkshire is that the musical was adapted into a film in 1986, which starred Rick Moranis and Ellen Greene, both of whom were born in Canada but have Yorkshire ancestry.
