The Mayflower

The Mayflower is a historic ship that is widely known for its role in the Pilgrims’ journey to the New World in 1620. Although the ship itself is not from Yorkshire, it has a special connection to the region as it is believed that some of the passengers aboard the Mayflower originated from Yorkshire. In the future, the Mayflower will be touring Yorkshire as part of its commemoration of the 400th anniversary of the Pilgrims’ voyage.
