Overview & description
Leeds 'Christkindelmarkt' is one of the largest and best established authentic German Christmas markets in the UK. Established in 2002, the Market is a partnership between Leeds City Council and Frankfurt Am Main (City Council) in Germany
Millennium Square will be transformed into a scenic winter village featuring a variety of authentic wooden chalet stalls, cosy indoor retreats, a traditional carousel and daily programme of light entertainment. On Friday 10 November we will be back with more Christmas spirit than you can shake a stick at.
The popular Alp Chalet restaurant forms the buzzing centrepiece of the market
A comfortable Bavarian styled eatery offering a delicious choice of traditional food and drink with authentic evening entertainment. New for 2016 will be a daily lunch time special menu and a Santa's Breakfast experience on Sunday mornings (see details below).
A visit to the Kuh Stall provides the perfect hideaway to chase away those winter chills
Unwind with family and friends by the real log fire in this cosy indoor retreat serving a variety of hot and cold drinks and traditional German sausages from the large grill.
Experience the all new Ski Hutte bar set in a bespoke alpine chalet
Offering an apres-ski inspired ambience, the Ski Hutte is an ideal meeting place for socialising with friends after a long day shopping or after work. Keep an eye out for its unique Glockenspiel feature playing up to 30 different Melodies!
