Courtside Cottages is a family run business set in the picturesque grounds of Hunmanby Hall on the North Yorkshire coast, three miles from Filey, nine miles from Scarborough and five miles from Bridlington. The North York Moors and Dalby Forest are on the doorstep and York is less than an hour away. The properties are located on the edge of the charming village of Hunmanby, a few minutes’ walk away, where you will find a supermarket, butchers and bakers shops, Chinese and pizza takeaways, along with a superb fish and chip shop and several pubs. The village has a train station and is on the bus route and the nearest beach is the splendid Hunmanby Gap, approximately three miles away.
The Studio – sleeps up to four
This property is approached by a raised patio area where there is a table and chairs, and is comprised of a generous open plan kitchen with dining area and comfortable lounge with TV. The ground floor also has a twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom. A spiral staircase leads to a king sized bedroom with ensuite shower and WC.
The Cottage – sleeps up to seven
The Cottage has a private walled garden with table and chairs. The kitchen is well-equipped and open plan to the dining room. The lounge is comfortably furnished with flat screen TV and DVD player. There is also a downstairs toilet with wash-handbasin. Upstairs has one king-sized bedroom with ensuite bathroom, one twin room and a further twin room with a pull-out bed. Furthermore, there is a shower room with WC and wash-handbasin.
All bed linen is provided, please bring your own towels. Adjacent to the two properties is a utility room with washer and drier (small charge). A private free car park and wifi are included.
Other facilities include free use of our wonderful 9 hole golf course, probably the best in the area (clubs and trolleys available). Four hard surface tennis courts, state of the art gym and badminton hall are also available. The golf course is surrounded by a one mile parkland walk with panoramic views of Filey Bay and Bempton Cliffs.
