The Lime Gallery at The Courtyard is located in a landscape known for its peaks and crags and pure, bracing air. But within the gallery, we intend to create a startling contrast to the atmospheric tumult outside. As well as supporting local artists, it’s our aim to showcase the sort of work you’d expect to find gracing the walls and plinths of London Galleries and New York Studios. Paintings, drawings, prints, sculpture, ceramics, design, jewellery, textiles, fashion as art, the exquisite use of materials, books, objects of interest and beauty. We want to make the work of exhibited artists from around the country and around the world accessible to everyone. Culture, in all its rich manifestations right at the heart of nature.
