Lightning Seeds

The Lightning Seeds are an English alternative rock band, formed in Liverpool in 1989 by Ian Broudie, previously of the bands Big in Japan and Care. The band is known for their melodic pop-rock sound, which blends indie influences with mainstream appeal. They gained widespread recognition in the 1990s, particularly for their hit single “Three Lions,” a song that became synonymous with England’s national football team.
