Parts of River House was originally built in 1664 and today River House combines modern facilities with period elegance, all our 8 bedrooms are individually decorated with a plentiful supply of Yorkshire tea and coffee, fresh milk, home made biscuits or cakes, digital TV, all bedrooms are en-suite, large fluffy towels and luxury toiletries, 2 with baths and showers the other 6 with showers, some have power showers. All en-suites have heated towel rails and luxury toiletry . All bedrooms are no-smoking. 1 room is on the ground floor for easy access for less able walkers.
A fantastic choice of breakfast is served fresh each morning.
A guest lounge with wood burning stove, licensed bar, free super fast broadband is available though out the house, board games and reading matter along with secure cycle storage make this an excellent choice for anyone wishing to enjoy this beautiful corner of the Yorkshire dales.
