Jack Dee: A Comedy Legend

Jack Dee’s influence in the world of comedy extends beyond his live performances. He is a regular on BBC Radio 4 as the chairman of “I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue,” the iconic ‘antidote to panel games.’ He also tours the country with a live stage version of this hit BBC show.

Dee co-hosts the popular podcast “Oh My Dog!” with fellow comedian Seann Walsh, where they chat with well-known dog owners about their pets. Recent guests have included Julian Clary, Beverley Knight, Romesh Ranganathan, Rob Beckett, and Alan Carr.

His contributions to television are equally notable. Dee co-wrote and starred in two sitcoms: “Lead Balloon” on BBC Two and “Bad Move” on ITV. He is also the author of the bestselling autobiography “Thanks for Nothing” and the comedic agony uncle book “What Is Your Problem?” published in 2021.

On television, Dee is a regular host of “Have I Got News For You” on BBC One. His other recent TV credits include presenting the documentary “Very Nearly An Armful” about Tony Hancock’s life, appearances on “QI,” “Jack Dee’s HelpDesk,” “The Apprentice: You’re Fired,” and starring as Geoff in three series of “JOSH” on BBC Three.

Most recently, he recorded his stand-up special “Jack Dee Off The Telly” at The Comedy Store in London’s West End, further cementing his status as a comedy legend.

The Show: Small World

In “Small World,” Jack Dee humorously tackles the trivialities of modern life. Rather than addressing grandiose topics like culture wars, the environment, British foreign policy, or social justice, Dee focuses on the everyday annoyances and minutiae that everyone can relate to. From Zoom protocols and radiator updates to the worst career advice offices, his show promises to be a hilarious exploration of life’s smaller, often overlooked details.

Dee’s ability to turn the mundane into comedy gold is what makes him one of the finest comedians of his generation. With his trademark charm and knack for talking nonsense, “Small World” is set to be a must-see show.
