Description

Toad Hall has been beautifully renovated in 2019 to provide a luxury stay away in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. A three bedroomed old stone Dales cottage, located in the beautiful village of Reeth, Swaledale. With stunning views and contemporary furnishings, this cottage is a fine example of where 5 Star luxury holidays can be found.

Every detail has been carefully thought about when renovating this quirky property, from locally sourced fixtures and fittings to beautiful and contemporary relaxing paints and sumptuous fabrics. Suitable for families and the elderly (limited mobility only). This property is not suitable for wheelchair users.

The beautifully modernised Shaker style kitchen has a Yorkshire Slate floor, and has everything you would expect - a dishwasher, washer dryer and a full height fridge freezer. With views across Harker Side and original cottage beams, even the washing up is not a chore. 

Three steps lead to the dining room with sumptuous Voyage fabric seating, a wooden floor and partial inbuilt bench seating around the dining table which seats 6 with a large map of the area on the wall. 

The dining room has a door through to the hall (another slate floor) from which the downstairs facilities can be accessed and there are stairs to the first floor. The hall has another exit to the outside for your convenience. 

The wood floor continues into the sitting room which has lovely views and an open fire. Wall lights and two comfortable sofas and an armchair help to ensure that this room is welcoming, relaxing yet bright. The door of the sitting room leads to bedroom 3, a cozy downstairs double bedroom with a dressing table and bedside tables. This room is perfect for family members requiring single level accommodation. 

Carpeted stairs to the first floor lead from the hall. Doors lead to the Master bedroom, bedroom 2 and bathroom. 

The Master bedroom has a wonderfully comfortable King size bed with a Smart TV. There is also a small wardrobe completing the room with the same attention to detail as downstairs. The windows look out onto Swaledale, showcasing the beautiful countryside.  

Across the landing is bedroom 2 with a fabulous built in double Captains bed. This would be ideal for children or a single adult.  

Three steps down from the landing is the family bathroom with luxurious Noble Isle toiletries and a Mira glass fronted shower over the bath. There are Cottage beams throughout the property, however awareness is only required in the family bathroom due to the sloping ceiling.
