<p><strong>Laser Operator</strong><br />Location: Bradford<br />Hours: 6am-2pm, Monday to Friday (40hrs, flexible start & finish times)<br />Pay Rate: £12.75-£15 per hour (DOE) + Overtime<br /><br />We're looking for a newly qualified, junior or "up and coming" Fabricator that are eager to grow their skills and experience as a <strong>Laser Operator </strong>for our fab growing client.<br /><br />You'll be working hands-on with our cutting-edge laser machines, playing a vital role in their manufacturing team. Duties will include:<br /><br />Operate laser machines to cut various metals.<br />Read and interpret engineering/CAD drawings, and collaborate with programmers for best practices.<br />Load sheet metals, checking size, thickness, and grade before cutting.<br />Efficiently manage offcuts and log them on the stock sheet.<br />Set machines for full cycles with multiple tool changes.<br />Monitor machines during operation, making adjustments as needed to maintain high quality.<br />Inspect finished products, compare them with drawings, and ensure all components are correct before moving them to fabrication or dispatch.<br />Perform regular checks and maintenance on machinery, reporting issues to management immediately.<br />Work within set deadlines to maintain production targets.<br />Complete all job paperwork clearly and pass it to the relevant department.<br /><br />They offer a supportive environment where your growth matters.
