This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to real estate, housing, commercial contracts, governance and legal compliance in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.<br /><br />You'll be involved in everything from lease reviews and title investigations to legal research, contract drafting and supporting emerging legislative and regulatory developments. No two days will be the same.<br /><br /><strong>What You'll Be Doing</strong><br /><ul> <li>Manage a caseload of property, real estate and commercial contract matters</li><li>Draft and review legal documents, contracts, leases and title reports</li><li>Support property transactions, title investigations and housing-related matters</li><li>Conduct legal research and provide updates on legislative and regulatory changes</li><li>Work with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors to deliver practical legal support</li><li>Maintain legal records, documents and contract databases</li><li>Support governance, compliance activities, legal enquiries and business projects</li></ul> <strong>Salary<br /></strong><br />Spot salary: £35,008 for applicants fully meeting requirements. If developing some skills/experience, start at 5% or 10% below with clear progression to full rate.<br /><br /><strong>About You<br /></strong><br />Proactive and organised individual keen to develop your legal career in a varied, fast-paced environment. You'll have:<br /><ul> <li>Law Degree (LLB) or Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL)</li><li>Experience working within a legal environment, ideally paralegal or legal support role</li><li>Experience or exposure to property law, real estate transactions or conveyancing</li><li>Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail</li><li>Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines effectively</li><li>Strong legal research, written communication and drafting skills</li><li>Collaborative approach and ability to build positive working relationships</li><li>Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li><li>Proactive mindset, sound judgement and confidence to use your initiative</li></ul> <strong>Interview Process<br /></strong><br /><strong>Stage 1 – A Place to Connect (3rd August, Teams)<br /></strong><br />Teams interview with hiring manager to discuss the role and get to know your experience and goals.<br /><br /><strong>Stage 2 – A Place to Show Your Strengths (10th August, Bradford)<br /></strong><br />Role-related assessment and behavioural/scenario-based interview.
