Very impressed with Currys. I wanted a pair of headphones, but I wanted them straight away and didn’t want to wait for postage, ordering online. I hoped that they would have what I wanted, and they did! Also, the price I paid was just as good as I had seen from online retailers, so no compromise there. What surprised me most was how helpful and knowledgeable the staff were. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but as soon as I started looking at the various options in store, an assistant came straight up and offered to help. I was very impressed with her knowledge of the products, and she asked a couple of questions to better understand exactly what I needed and wanted. She was then able to recommend a pair which I bought and I’ve been very happy with, at just the right price point. In an age when it’s so easy and convenient to buy online, I’ve been reminded how much nicer it is, and in some ways, a better experience, to buy in-person.
The service was terrible, I am a frequent customer as I have bought a fridge,tv and phone from curry’s but I had encountered a terrible worker who wouldn’t help out another worker, the person helping me didn’t know how to do a trade in so he asked someone else ( tan ) but then (tan ) didn’t help and was very unhelpful I understand people are busy but it was plain rude Don’t buy from this shop people!!
Browsing around the fridge freezer section, one of the employees- young hijabi girl kept giving me and my sister dirty looks although we personally didnt know her and are not around Bradford. this made me very uncomfortable and had left the store due to this interaction. Curry’s needs to employ more friendly and helpful staff. thanks!
Absolute waste of time.. went in to purchase a new MacBook Pro and a new Microsoft surface tablet. Approx £3500 budget. Nothing in stock and I mean nothing. Walked it within 3mins of arriving. All the space and they can’t even get stock in. No wonder people buy on line.
Avoid buying anything by from this store!! My washing machine has been delayed and when I went in store to query this they told me there’s nothing they can do. I called the customer service team who told me this store rejected the delivery and they should be the ones dealing with the issue not fobbing customers off to the call centre! Staff here don’t have a clue what they’re up to. Avoid if you don’t want a headache and stress
