Amazing charity shop. I couldn't believe how huge it was when I went to have a nosey and drop off some stuff. I'm glad I didn't listen to the reviews as they can be quite off putting. They accepted my donations, not a problem. They said that due to lack of storage they did have to refuse a few weeks ago but we're able to send some stuff to another store to free space so it was a temporary measure by looks of it. I did call up prior to taking my donations though, just to check, as a few other charity shops had reached max capacity and couldn't accept them. The teddies were not overly expensive, not when you goto build a bear and teddies are £10+ and cancer research had them at £5 in great condition! There was even a giant squishmallow for £5, easily £25 from shops new. My little girl loved the KPOP songs! Music wasn't loud or overbearing. It was varied to suit all ages. Love the variety of clothing and prices were very good. Didn't smell either as usually charity shops have that old fustiness to them but this one didn't. I will definitely be returning in the near future.
Massive charity shop. Bright. Airy. Friendly staff. Good selection of new and pre loved goods.
Big with a good selection of items, friendly helpful staff. But constantly plays really loud, hectic music making it hard to browse the books.
Very over priced soft toys. Rubbish kids toys they put out. Junk basically.
I’ve been a regular customer at this charity shop since it opened on the retail park and I have always loved it for its low prices and friendly staff. Well I think there must of been a change in management because this place has really gone down hill. The prices have shot up for a start I went in the other week and I saw a set of generic candlesticks for £40 I think they forget it’s a charity shop not a boutique. As well they are always asking for extra money when I’m already buying things I get that the shop assistants probably don’t have a choice but to ask but it’s too much! As I said I think it’s a new manager this elderly woman I’ve seen walking around more like patrolling actually. I’ve seen the way she speaks to staff and all I can say is she is plain rude. Not great with customers either don’t think I’ve seen the woman crack a smile. I usually wouldn’t say anything but as it’s a charity shop I think people have a right to know the kind of people these establishments hire! I will take my custom elsewhere
