First time of going in. Had a good look round seemed clean. Had a few offers on but i thought it was on par with your usual supermarket. Had a vast range frozen goods which i would have probably bought but we weren't going home 😔. Did notice a good range of Slimming World meals .
It's very large compared to a standard Iceland, there's a wealth of choices and a whole lot of stock. . The first time I visited I was surprised by the size of the store it was nice to have such a wide choice of items there is plenty of space in the aisles prices are just the same as the standard store.
Abysmal staff and management. I went to pick up some items and tried to go through the only till open, but as a wheelchair user I couldn’t fit, even though I said that I couldn’t fit the cashier just watched me struggle and injure myself trying to fit through, once through I asked who I speak to about the fact that the check outs are inaccessible to a wheelchair user. A manager came and said it wasn’t their fault but they could get me a number to complain, when they came back with the number they said they couldn’t do anything, I pointed out that they could train staff to make wheelchair users aware that the exit is not wheelchair accessible, they said that another exit is wheelchair accessible but they don’t open it because of shoplifters and customers need to ask to be let out because it is locked, but there are no signs or indication that there is a wheelchair accessible exit that isn’t open or that you need to ask for it and blamed me for trying to fit through.
Just looked on my bonus card and £5 has been taken off not by me When I first joined 6 months ago, I’ve been putting £20 a month in and a odd £5 was because I didn’t have a card on my first visit only driving licence so when I joined they gave me the£5 back I lost because I only had a licence identity. Now I’ve just rung them to be told I’ve lost the £5 because it was only valid for 6 months, something that was never explained to me. I’ve been going in every month buying food and adding £20 on my saver for Christmas food, I won’t be putting any more on from now
Went in on a random chance as was pleasantly surprised, they do TGI’s, Greg’s, McDonald’s, and a whole heap of other foods that were awesome! I have to say there was a girl working stocking shelves at the back of the store (reddish hair scraped back) and she was so fun, cheery and banter fun, made my shopping experience way better so deserved praise! 👍🏻
