Terrible! ordered food on just eat, after over an hour and the wait time just going up and up I called the store to cancel from their end and they had put it as prepared on just eat so I could not cancel. The lady that answered the phone told me it was just eats fault because their drivers havnt turned up, just to tell me 60 seconds later that 2 orders have just left so let’s just hope one is mine. It was an hour and a half before I got my food which was all freezing cold. The courier had been waiting for 45 minutes for our food at the store so it was not just eat to blame at all. Not ordering again as it was horrible due to it being cold.
Dear Greggs Customer Service Team, I am writing to express my deep disappointment following my recent experience at your Catterick Garrison store on the morning of Sunday, 27th April 2025. At approximately 10:25 AM, I joined the queue intending to purchase a Sausage and Bacon Breakfast Roll. After waiting for around 10 minutes, I finally reached the counter, only to be informed by a young male staff member that if I wanted bacon, I would face an additional 5–10 minute wait. When I enquired about sausage availability, I was abruptly told that no more sausages would be cooked as "there was only 10 minutes left" of breakfast service. However, the time was only approximately 10:35 AM, meaning there were still around 25 minutes of advertised breakfast service remaining. As a regular customer of this Greggs location, I have to say that the standard of service has often been inconsistent at best. Experiences like this are unacceptable, and it is disappointing to be met with such poor communication, lack of preparation, and frankly, a dismissive attitude toward customers. I expect better from a brand with Greggs’ reputation. I strongly urge you to review staff training at this store, particularly regarding customer service skills, communication, time management, and basic manners. Customers should not be made to feel as though they are an inconvenience. I look forward to hearing how you intend to address this issue.
Went in and ordered an item that was about to go out of stock, I realised it had been taken just before I ordered by a staff member who was eating it on her break
Que out the door, everyday, needs more staff or something, get half hour break and spend 20 mins waiting
Disgraceful customer service. Literally just been into store to buy some sweet treats, one lady was cleaning and the younger girl turned around said ‘is that everything? That’s £…. No welcome greeting, no thank you, she went off into the kitchen and didn’t even wait for the card payment to go thro!!! Will not be frequenting there regularly!! Terrible atmosphere and rubbish customer service!
