This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll play a key part in attracting great talent, supporting new colleagues through their onboarding journey</p> <p><strong>Description</strong></p> <p>As our Recruitment &amp; Training Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing the recruitment process from advert to induction, ensuring every candidate receives a professional and positive experience.</p> <p>Your responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Creating and advertising vacancies across a range of recruitment platforms and internal channels.</li><li>Managing candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding process using our HR system.</li><li>Screening applications and coordinating recruitment campaigns across the business.</li><li>Building strong relationships with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and provide regular updates.</li><li>Communicating with candidates throughout their recruitment journey, including interview invitations, feedback and offer discussions.</li><li>Arranging and conducting interviews where appropriate.</li><li>Completing all pre-employment checks, including references, right to work checks, DBS checks, medical appointments and drug &amp; alcohol testing where required.</li><li>Preparing contracts, offer packs and onboarding documentation.</li><li>Coordinating induction dates and supporting new starters as they join the business.</li><li>Attending recruitment events and careers fairs to promote opportunities within the company.</li><li>Supporting the coordination of training programmes, induction sessions and CPC courses.</li><li>Maintaining accurate recruitment, onboarding and training records, dashboards and reporting.</li><li>Working with the wider People team to continually improve recruitment processes and the candidate experience.</li><li>Providing occasional HR administrative support, including note-taking during employee relations meetings when required.</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Profile</strong></p> <p>You'll be someone who enjoys working at pace and can confidently juggle multiple vacancies and priorities without compromising on quality.</p> <p>You'll also have:</p> <ul> <li>At least two years' recruitment experience with a good understanding of recruitment legislation and best practice.</li><li>Previous administration experience in a busy environment.</li><li>Outstanding organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the confidence to build relationships with candidates, managers and colleagues at every level.</li><li>The ability to prioritise a high volume of applications while maintaining an excellent candidate experience.</li><li>A proactive, positive approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.</li><li>Flexibility to travel between sites</li><li>A full driving licence and access to transport</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Job Offer</strong></p> <ul> <li>A competitive salary ranging from &#163;28,000 to &#163;30,000 per annum.</li><li>Excellent benefits to support your professional and personal well-being.</li><li>The opportunity to work in Harrogate within a reputable organisation in the transport &amp; distribution industry.</li><li>A permanent role with opportunities for career development and growth.</li></ul> <p>If you are ready to take the next step in your career as a Recruitment and Training Assistant, we encourage you to apply today.</p>
