Quality & Compliance Manager
<strong>PURPOSE OF JOB</strong><br /><br />This role is responsible for all aspects of audit and compliance for the organisation, ensuring the Company maintains its ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001 accreditations.<br /><br />The role works with all departments to ensure quality systems are introduced, maintained and developed, continually improving the way the business operates and ensuring processes and procedures reflect this.<br /><br /><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong><br /><ul> <li>Plan and carry out ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001 audits</li><li>Understand EcoVadis requirements and support the annual submission (Training available)</li><li>Manage all quality compliance activities</li><li>Take responsibility for risk assessment, audit review, monitoring and managing quality compliance within the organisation</li><li>Continually check the accuracy of the quality system</li><li>Chair quarterly quality meetings</li><li>Maintain accurate quality and compliance records</li><li>Carry out internal audits on agreed timescales</li><li>Liaise with department heads on action points resulting from internal audits</li><li>Collaborate with the management team to ensure the entire Company is aware of compliance requirements and issues</li><li>Develop internal controls and policies designed to ensure all compliance requirements are met</li><li>Work closely with department managers to review department policies for compliance issues</li><li>Deal with non-conformances in a timely manner</li><li>Liaise with external auditors</li><li>Liaise with external customers and suppliers</li></ul> <strong>KEY RELATIONSHIPS</strong><br /><ul> <li>General Manager</li><li>Department heads and managers</li><li>External auditors</li><li>Customers and suppliers</li></ul> <strong>QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & BEHAVIOURS</strong><br /><ul> <li>Knowledge and experience of managing quality and compliance within an organisation</li><li>Understanding of quality audits, with experience of carrying them out</li><li>Ability to feedback and implement changes to processes and procedures to meet quality audit results</li><li>Proven competence in regulatory and legal requirements</li><li>Leadership ability with excellent team-working skills</li><li>High level of commercial awareness</li><li>Advanced knowledge of computer databases and Office 365</li><li>Strong understanding of current legislation on all aspects of compliance and audits</li><li>Commercially focussed decision making</li><li>Collaborative style, liaising with other departments/managers to ensure customer expectations are achieved</li></ul> <strong>WHAT'S ON OFFER</strong><br /><ul> <li>Full training and development</li><li>Up to 25 days holiday (pro-rated for part-time working) - plus bank holidays</li><li>Company pension</li><li>Health Plan Scheme</li><li>Death in Service</li><li>Working 8.30am-5pm - Monday to Friday - on-site with free parking</li><li>Competitive salary</li><li>Location: Leeds LS9</li></ul> <br />REF-229 860
