had a great time at HSBC today. Caroline Allen was super helpful and took us through all the steps required for what we asked for. Along with putting in the extra effort and asked externally when we had further questions
The only reason I am giving 5 stars is for Caroline in branch at Malton she went above and beyond to assist in my query. If I score 1 star that unfortunately affects Caroline and her branch team and its not the branch my issue lies with so that would be completely unfair. NOT BRANCH TEAM were absolutely diabolical misinformation to the highest level. They messed up. I am still waiting on a call from the Manager of that team. I wont hold my breath as they seem to hide behind the poor young ladies who answer the calls on minimum wage. The team that messed up don't take calls from the public. 0 stars for the Manager and their team.
Great bank when open - yesterday called to pay in cash - notice in doorway- sorry for inconvenience but had to close early today!! WHAT!! Why, in this day & age, can't you post on website - closed today due to unforseen circumstances? Having made a 20min drive to specifically pay monies into my bank I was not happy, especially when everyone these days is counting their pennies - the cost of fuel to drive there only to find that you have to return another day. This wouldn't have been allowed to happen 20yrs ago, was it just because the staff wanted to catch some sun rays? Who knows but shocking service this is & it's not the 1st time this has happened- I recall the same thing a few weeks ago - get a grip & treat your customers with a bit more respect.
All your banking needs and good staff and 24hr cash machine
