Stainless Steel Balustrade - Corner Post - Handrail

Ideal for enclosing decking, pools, garden areas and walkways without losing the view, this stainless steel corner post allows for a 90 degree change in the direction of your balustrade. The tubular post measures 1170mm high (1100mm post with 70mm bracket), has a circular base plate and is predrilled with holes separated 90 degrees from each other. The post is supplied with the 4 glass clamps and bolts required to quickly and easily secure glass panels in position to create an uninterrupted corner view. Glass clamps measure L65mm x W44mm x D27mm. Made from 316 exterior grade stainless steel, the added 2% molybdenum helps to resist corrosion and has an ultra-smooth and contemporary 400 grit brushed satin finish. While 316 stainless steel is renowned for its corrosion resistance, it is not immune to the potentially corrosive effects of exposure to salt, particularly in coastal areas. While it may provide enhanced protection compared to 304 stainless steel, the relentless presence of salt in sea air and its corrosive nature can still impact the material. Therefore, we do not recommend installing 316 stainless steel balustrade railings within a 10 mile proximity to the sea.
