This jacket is waterproof with the help of the SinAqua waterproof lining which is a three-layer durable waterproof and breathable membrane offering breathability of 5000 g/m2/24h and a waterproof rating of over 10000mm/cm3. Along with the waterproof lining, this jacket also has a removable thermal gilet with a fixed HD mesh which means, along with the waterproof lining that this jacket can be used all year round whether rain or shine. The collar on this jacket is made from a comfortable neoprene to ensure the rider stays as comfortable as possible. The zips located all over the jacket are made using MAX zips. This jacket has 2 intake vents on the front and 2 rear exhaust vents on the rear which help to keep the rider cool in the warmer temperatures. The Alpha 5 is held together using a core spun polyester thread.This jacket can be made perfect for the rider with the adjustments parts which are located on the waist, gusset and the biceps. The Alpha 5 has 2 pockets on the outside of the jacket which can be used to hold items that are needed quickly. Along with these pockets on the outside, this jacket also features 5 pockets on the inside for other items that may need to be kept safe from the wet weather.This jacket is Certified to CE rating AA which means the protection on offer is suited to touring gear. It specifies two seconds of abrasion resistance in Zone 1 (Shoulders, Elbows, Hips and Knees) at 412.6rpm (about 70km/h), one second at 265.3rpm in Zone 2 (outer arms, torso, legs and feet) and 0.5 seconds at 147.4rpm (the equivalent of around 25kmh) in Zone 3 (inner arms, torso and legs).
