Give the ends of your balustrade handrails a sleek and professional finish in seconds with these stainless steel end caps. Designed for use with our 42.4mm diameter handrails, the end caps simply push into the end of the handrail without requiring bolts or rivets, leaving your balustrade looking seamless and flawless. Stainless steel bonding adhesive should be applied. The round, flat end cap perfectly coordinates with our handrail’s modern 400 grit brushed satin finish and feels ultra-smooth to the touch. The exterior grade 316 stainless steel contains 2% added molybdenum for improved corrosion resistance, so it’s ideal for outdoor decks, patios and balconies. While 316 stainless steel is renowned for its corrosion resistance, it is not immune to the potentially corrosive effects of exposure to salt, particularly in coastal areas. While it may provide enhanced protection compared to 304 stainless steel, the relentless presence of salt in sea air and its corrosive nature can still impact the material. Therefore, we do not recommend installing 316 stainless steel balustrade railings within a 10 mile proximity to the sea.
