DexGreens DexCrimp Wire Connector is capable of joining any two wires, but with no requirement to strip the insulation. Ideal for telecommunications and networking cabling. The DexCrimp 8A/1 connector is constructed so that when the IDC is used there is a minimum of 4mm clear wire travel past the last IDC blade. It has unique insulation displacement technology to allow efficient splicing of cable conductors without stripping the insulation. Accommodate conductors from 0.4mm through to 0.9mm. This single wire connector referred to as a discrete connector can be used to splice two wires. Designed for applications covering aerial, buried and underground construction which are exposed to a full range of temperature, humidity and pollutants as well as craftsman applied chemicals. The polypropylene plastic parts are resistant to fungi, heat, solvents and stress cracking agents and compatible with metals and other materials such as conductor insulation and filling compounds used in the manufacture of cable.
