The Ruark Talisman-R Floorstanding Speakers are designed for listeners who want a refined floorstanding speaker that looks as considered as it sounds. Inspired by the original 1990 Talisman this new version keeps the slim silhouette and angled baffle concept while updating the acoustic design for modern hi-fi systems and Ruarks 100 Series styling. Each speaker uses a 6.5-inch long-throw Ruark NS+ treated fibre woofer and a 27mm silk dome tweeter combined through an optimised second-order crossover with premium audio components. The dual-flared bass reflex cabinet supports a typical in-room response of 40Hz-22kHz giving music natural weight without overwhelming the room. A decoupled baffle internal bracing compound wadding solid steel plinth and supplied rubber feet or carpet spikes all help control resonance and improve stability. With 87dB sensitivity 6-ohm nominal impedance and recommended amplifier power of 50-250W Talisman-R is well suited to serious stereo systems including Ruarks R710 and R610 music consoles.
