Worn shock absorbers can effect cornering, braking, acceleration, and tyre life.The legendary Bilstein damping smooths out bumps for an excellent ride, but control and stability are maintained at speed for confidence in all conditions.Bilstein B4's are designed to match your cars original suspension, so they will work happily with either standard ride height springs or mild lowering springs. Up to around 30mm is normally fine, but this depends on application. More extreme lowering springs will often still work with B4s, but we'd generally recommend a specialist sports damper in those cases.For some vehicles an insert style damper rather than a complete strut will be supplied. This usually depends on the original suspension layout.Because your shock absorbers effect how well the tyre stays in contact with the road, we normally recommend replacing these in pairs at least. Uneven shock absorber wear across the same axle can result in undesirable behaviour especially under braking.Sold individually.
