Staff are competent and friendly however I find the waiting queues in this bank are usually very long. They are shortstaffed with two over-the-counter at most. Make sure you take a book and read a chapter while you’re waiting recently went in and the counter service wasn’t working. Have to wait a month to pay my bill. Unless of course I get a taxi or bus to the Stockton branch a bit silly really isn’t it?
Very helpful staff and service, Que can get a bit long and waiting time significantly time consuming nonetheless the staff very understanding and helpful.
Today 29th may 2024, I visited the Middlesbrough branch it was around 13:20 - 13:45 is time. I spoke to a young man who was working on the desk Etienne or Ehienne was his name, after dealing with a lady infront of me. I was a little unsure if he would be able to help, well he sure did sorted my card out, and also helped me set my app on my phone which i was so very greatful, I just wanted to say thank you so much for your help and support and i hope your manager get to read this message..
Always a big queue for 1 server ( 2 if your lucky) . Many staff flitting about not serving people , like just jump on for a bit . Some old man with a walker was stood in queue so long today his knee gave out. Staff emerged then to help , maybe if he wasn't stood up so long he wouldn't have needed you to call him an ambulance. ( Hope he is ok )
Went in this afternoon and it was empty, needed some assistance and the man just says go online and read "I'd already gone online and read at the bottom it says for further assistance go to your local branch" which is why I was there. He was practically trying to run away to just go and stand at the entrance look "important". Then another customers walks in and he rushes to great them while we were in the middle of discussing the application. I ended up just walking out because that was just disrespectful, if one doesn't feel like assisting customers then one should stay at home.
