Waited outside for 15 minutes because they decided to open late, only for them to tell me they had forgot to put any food in the oven besides sausage rolls. Not every person wants to be eating sausage rolls for breakfast!! When I asked how long I’d be waiting for my food the staff were completely dismissive and told me it would be minimum 20 minutes, which would make me late for work. Just do better
Just bought a festive bake , stone cold ! Got told it’s only warm when it’s freshly baked . , I asked when it had been baked and that was 6.30am so that means it was sat there for ages . Didn’t eat it
They make a lovely bacon roll and coffee for under £4. I’m here visiting for a week and the roll has hot the spot each day :).
They are always busy (a good sign) but the queue moves quickly. The staff are quick and friendly. There are only 4 x 2 person tables inside and 2 outside so it's not a place to sit for long. Good selection of cakes, sandwiches and warm snacks on offer. Hot and cold drinks.
Usually it’s fine. It’s Greggs. Don’t appreciate having someone’s beard hair literally cooked into my pasty though. Noticed dough was soggy and undercooked before I noticed the hair.
