Britains oldest cable hauled tramway opened in 1895 and is a 1/4 mile ride through woodland linking the World Heritage Village of Saltaire and Shipley Glen and is run entirely by volunteers.There is a musuem at the bottom station and and Edwardian shop. At the top station there is a small shop selling memorabilia,sweets and drinks.
