With a strong regional presence and an excellent reputation for client care, the firm continues to grow through repeat business, trusted relationships, and a practical, people-first approach to legal services. Based primarily in York, with occasional travel to additional regional offices, this Licensed Conveyancer role will see you managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion. The Person Commercially aware conveyancer with strong technical expertise and a proactive, client-focused approach Proven experience independently managing residential conveyancing matters from instruction to completion Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills with strong attention to detail Open, personable and confident building relationships with clients and customers alike Able to manage competing deadlines effectively within a busy, fast-paced environment Solutions-driven with a commitment to delivering high standards of client service A Level 6 Diploma in Conveyancing Law & Practice or the equivalent (essential) Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (preferred) The Licensed Conveyancer Role Managing files from instruction through to post-completion Caseload of 60 per month Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfers, deeds, and legal documentation Conducting title investigations and reviewing title documentation Raising and responding to enquiries Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, solicitors, and third parties Monitoring transaction timelines and ensuring matters progress efficiently Maintaining accurate file records and compliance documentation Ensuring matters are handled in line with regulatory and AML requirements You will be responsible for managing your own conveyancing caseload, covering: Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases Re-mortgages Transfers of equity General residential property transactions
