<p><strong>An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Legal Adviser to join my clients team in their York offices on a hybrid basis.</strong></p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Property Lawyer to further their career with a leading firm.</p> <p>This role would be suited to an existing team leader or a candidate who is looking to take the next step in their career and start managing a team.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p>• Support Directors in delivering firm-wide strategy.</p> <p>• Ensure Residential Property work aligns with firm policies and departmental standards.</p> <p>• Provide high-quality, timely legal service and client communication.</p> <p>• Manage own caseload and assist colleagues with advice and representation.</p> <p>• Maintain professional standards and regulatory compliance (e.g. SRA).</p> <p>• Record and develop professional competencies.</p> <p>• Promote the firm internally and externally.</p> <p>• Act with integrity, sound judgment, and client focus.</p> <p>• Stay informed on law, funding, and compliance.</p> <p>• Follow internal systems (case management, audits, due diligence, time recording).</p> <p>• Meet billing targets and manage credit control.</p> <p>• Maximise profitability and minimise waste.</p> <p>• Support staff performance and development.</p> <p><strong>Skills &amp; Experience:</strong></p> <p>• Strong academic background; qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or ILEX with at least 5 years PQE</p> <p>• Fee earning experience and familiarity with professional partnerships and LLPs</p> <p>• Knowledge of firm operations, people, finances, and strategic objectives</p> <p>• Excellent written and verbal communication; persuasive and confident presenter</p> <p>• Strong organisational, numerical, and financial skills</p> <p>• Ability to multitask, manage time, and meet deadlines under pressure</p> <p>• Builds effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders</p> <p>• Proficient in IT systems, including desktop and case management t</p> <p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p> <p>• Competitive salary – because your skills are worth it</p> <p>• 25 days holiday &#43; bank holidays, your birthday off, and no guilt about using them</p> <p>• Death in service scheme – peace of mind for you and your loved ones</p> <p>• Healthcare cash plan – supporting your physical and financial wellbeing</p> <p>• Wellness group – because mental health matters</p> <p>• Inclusive &amp; fun culture – we work hard, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously</p> <p>• Clear and transparent progression plan – for everyone, not just lawyers</p> <p>Should you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear Legal and Financial Recruitment.</p> <p>Please Note: Due to the number of applications we receive we may be unable to respond to every application directly.
