Project Manager – Utility Scale Solar (Up to 50MW) | Outside IR35<br /><br />Location: York (Site-Based)<br />Job Type: Contract (Outside IR35)<br />Sector: Renewable Energy / Utility Scale Solar<br /><br />We're recruiting on behalf of a leading renewable energy contractor for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of utility-scale solar PV projects across the UK, with schemes up to 50MW.<br /><br />This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong pipeline of work and play a key role in delivering large-scale renewable energy infrastructure.<br /><br />The Role<br /><br />As Project Manager, you'll take full responsibility for the successful delivery of utility-scale solar projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and within budget.<br /><br />You'll manage site teams, subcontractors and stakeholders while ensuring the project is delivered to the highest quality standards.<br /><br />Key Responsibilities<br />Lead the delivery of utility-scale solar PV projects up to 50MW.<br />Manage project programmes, budgets and commercial performance.<br />Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.<br />Ensure all works are delivered safely and in line with CDM regulations.<br />Chair client and progress meetings.<br />Monitor programme milestones and report on project performance.<br />Manage project risks and resolve issues as they arise.<br />Work closely with engineering, commercial and commissioning teams through to project completion.<br />About You<br /><br />We're looking for someone with a proven background delivering major infrastructure or renewable energy projects.<br /><br />Ideally you'll have:<br /><br />Experience managing utility-scale solar projects.<br />A strong background within renewable energy, utilities, power or civil engineering.<br />Experience working under NEC contracts.<br />Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.<br />SMSTS certification.<br />Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and health & safety best practice.<br />Full UK driving licence.<br /><br />What's on Offer<br />Outside IR35 contract<br />Competitive day rate<br />Long-term contract on a flagship renewable energy project<br />Opportunity to deliver utility-scale solar projects up to 50MW<br />Immediate start<br />Strong pipeline of future work<br /><br />If you're an experienced Project Manager with a background in utility-scale solar or major infrastructure projects and are looking for your next Outside IR35 contract, we'd love to hear from you.
