This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced <strong>Sales Office Manager</strong>&nbsp;to lead an internal sales team and play a key role in supporting business growth.</p> <strong>The Role</strong> <p>You'll manage the day-to-day sales office operation, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient processing of enquiries and orders, and strong collaboration across commercial and operational teams.</p> <strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> <ul> <li>Lead, coach and develop the internal sales team.</li><li>Oversee customer enquiries, quotations and order processing.</li><li>Build strong customer relationships and support key accounts.</li><li>Monitor KPIs and report on sales performance.</li><li>Maintain CRM and ERP systems, supporting ongoing process improvements.</li><li>Work closely with production, purchasing and senior management.</li><li>Attend occasional customer visits and UK trade shows.</li></ul> <strong>About You</strong> <ul> <li>Previous experience managing an internal sales or customer service team.</li><li>Strong B2B sales or account management background.</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.</li><li>Experience using CRM/ERP systems and Microsoft Office.</li><li>Manufacturing, engineering or electronics experience is desirable.</li><li>Full UK driving licence.</li><li>Able to work on-site in York.</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p>If you're an experienced sales office leader looking to join a growing manufacturing business where you can make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
