I bought a car on Monday and was helped by Zak Mason. Zak was knowledgeable, thorough, and very patient throughout the process. He explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and never made me feel pressured at any point. The whole experience was straightforward and professional, and I’m very happy with the service I received. Would definitely recommend asking for Zak if you’re buying a car here.

I would strongly advise caution when dealing with Evans Halshaw York. I purchased a vehicle which developed a serious fault within 30 days. I exercised my short-term right to reject under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and this was accepted by the dealership. Despite this, the vehicle return and refund process was extremely poorly handled. Communication was slow and often non existent, the dealership initially failed to accept delivery of the rejected vehicle and the refund was delayed for over 7 weeks beyond the 14-day statutory requirement. DS Automobiles UK customer support had to become involved due to lack of action by the retailer. The refund was only issued after formal escalation. The experience was unnecessarily stressful and fell well below the standard expected of a franchised dealer. The service I received from senior management at your dealership reflects that it does not pride itself on delivering good customer service.

Just wanted to leave a quick review for Kerry. Superstar phoned with an update as promised on the readiness of one of the fleet vehicles I needed to collect. Really helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Nice to see someone so cheerful and happy to help

Probably the best experience I have had buying a car. Zak was friendly, professional, easy going and had great communication throughout. The car was delivered quickly and arrived as described and I love it ! I would highly recommend Evans Halshaw York ! Thank you, Sarah (Plymouth)
