Yorkshire Wildlife Park Launches Indoor Adventure Golf Attraction Planet Putt on August 1, 2026

The Yorkshire Wildlife Park has recently welcomed a thrilling new attraction to its line-up: Planet Putt, an indoor adventure golf experience that promises to take visitors on a fun-filled journey around the globe. Officially opening on the 1st of August 2026, this exciting addition is designed to entertain families, friends, and groups of all ages, making it a perfect complement to a day spent exploring the wildlife park or enjoying a stay at the nearby Hex Wildlife Hotel.

Planet Putt Experience

Planet Putt aims to create an immersive adventure for players, transporting them to various iconic landmarks from around the world. Guests can choose to play either 18 holes or opt for one of the two 9-hole courses available.

• Traditional Japanese houses surrounded by blossom trees

• The spectacular Niagara Falls in Canada

• Singapore's famous Gardens by the Bay

• London featuring Big Ben and an iconic red telephone box

• New York's Statue of Liberty

• The Eiffel Tower in Paris

The second course, Wonders of the World, continues the adventure with stops at:

• Greece's Acropolis

• The mysterious Easter Island in Chile

• A lively tuk-tuk night scene in Thailand

• Egypt's Sphinx and Pyramids

• The ancient city of Petra in Jordan

• Italy's Colosseum

• The Great Wall of China

• Australia's Ayers Rock

• The breath-taking Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa

In addition to mini golf, Planet Putt features Smart Darts and Shuffleboard, along with Bar Bellavista, where players can relax and enjoy a variety of food options such as pizzas, nachos, paninis, and hot dogs, as well as a fully licensed bar. For those looking to celebrate, there is also a party room available for group bookings.

Wildlife Park Highlights

Yorkshire Wildlife Park itself offers visitors a chance to discover some incredible animals. Guests can view a range of beautiful and endangered species, including Polar Bears, Black Rhinos, Giraffes, and African Painted Dogs. The park is also home to exciting new arrivals like cheetah cubs, a male red panda named Zemi, and a baby titi monkey alongside capybaras named Chip and Dale.

Visitors can experience daily ranger talks and get up close to the animals, enhancing their visit with educational insights. The park also features the newly opened Malaysian Singing Forest Gibbon Reserve and an eagerly awaited penguin habitat, which is set to open soon.

The final Wild Live concert will take place over the August Bank Holiday, featuring performances from popular artists such as Scouting for Girls, Paddy McGuinness, The Hoosiers, Toploader, Camens, Ocean Colour Scene, The Feeling, The Farm, and Stereo MC's.
