Amy Whittaker Joins Flemingate
Amy Whittaker, who has nearly 20 years of experience in the shopping centre industry, has been appointed to lead the team at Flemingate. Her most recent position was at The Potteries Centre in Stoke-on-Trent, where she started in 2013. Over the years, she climbed the ranks through various roles in human resources and operations, eventually becoming General Manager in 2020 and Centre Director in 2024.
Whittaker's impressive background in managing shopping centres positions her well to enhance the already thriving environment at Flemingate. She has been brought on board by Wykeland Group, the owner and operator of the centre, to build on its recent successes and continue attracting visitors despite challenges faced by high street retailers across the UK.
