Join us for a cuppa at Britannia House as part of Car Free Day 2026 at Darley Street Market, bradford

All are invited to Britannia House between 8am – 2pm on Tuesday 22 September in celebration of Car Free Day. Leave the car at home and bike, walk or take public transport to work and start your day with a free hot drink courtesy of the Active Travel team. (Please note that hot drinks will only be available after 9am. Vouchers provided at Britannia House can be redeemed at the café at Darley Street Market) If you bring your bike you can also have it marked and registered with BikeRegister, the national, police-preferred database, that will improve your chances of your bike being returned to you should it ever be stolen. There will be information stalls from Living Well, BetterPoints, Beryl Bikes and Park Run, so please do come and chat with them and find out about the various Active Travel and wellbeing initiatives going on in the district.
