Very lucky to have this chippy in the village. Easily up there with the best. Great people and great food. Absolutely could not recommend enough.
Excellent fish & chips !..First time i had visited tonight fab friendly &polite staff.well worth the walk from queensbury finished off with excellent food.👍👍😊
Under new ownership, however the quality is lacking. Chips; some were over cooked and others under cooked. Choice of wrapping paper is all wrong. Half of the chips were left stuck to the paper. Of what you get, you lose half to the wrapping. Don’t ask about the fish… I’ve seen bigger fish fingers! Can’t increase price & decrease portions and expect customers to return.

Beautiful and delicious fish and chips. Succulent and fluffy, melts in your mouth. The taste is to another level. Not greasy but lightly crispy. Standard price £8 for fish & chips and enough for 2 people. Everything is halal and fresh. They even have a variety: burgers, donner, sausages. Welcoming and friendly staff and highly recommended. Very clean and organised. Its always busy so pre-order is advisable. Will be one of my regulars from now as the best chippy so far 😃 Please do try.
