Heritage Craft Workshop
On Saturday, 5 September, the Bradford Industrial Museum will host a Heritage Craft Workshop where participants can learn to make a beautiful mosaic birdbath. Led by professional mosaic maker Abigail Barker, this workshop runs from 11am to 4pm and costs £45. All materials and tools will be provided, making it a perfect opportunity for anyone interested in arts and crafts.

Events at Bradford Markets
Bradford Markets is set to be a lively hub on 5 September with a variety of events lined up:
Bantams in the Courtyard FanZone (12pm - 2.30pm): A family-friendly event in collaboration with Bradford City AFC, just before the home match. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun.
Marko Afro (5pm - 7pm): This local musician will be performing laid-back tunes, making it a great way to relax and unwind at the market.
C&E Craft Boutique Market (12 September, 11am - 4.30pm): A celebration of local creativity featuring handcrafted gifts and unique items from independent businesses.

the iNVISIBLES (17 September, 6pm - 8pm): A screening of the Bradford-made feature film, celebrating the local film scene.
Oktoberfest (18-19 September, 11am - 9pm): This popular event will feature a range of German beers and delicious food, perfect for those looking to experience a bit of Bavarian culture.
Will Matthew (18 September, 6pm - 8pm): The singer-songwriter will perform original songs and covers, promising a delightful evening of music.

Harmonic Fields
From 9 to 13 September, Baildon Moor will transform into a musical landscape with Harmonic Fields, a unique installation featuring wind and nature-powered instruments. This free event invites visitors to wander through the moor, experiencing a symphonic performance created by the elements, including xylophones, drums, and more.
This event, which has been showcased in cities like Copenhagen and Marseille, promises a magical experience set against the stunning backdrop of the moors. More information can be found here.
Heritage Open Days
The Heritage Open Days are set to take place throughout September, offering a chance to explore Bradford’s rich history. Events include:
Victoria Hall Open Day (12 September, 11am - 3pm): Discover the history of this important building in Saltaire, which has served various purposes since its Victorian beginnings.
Ilkley Manor House - Victorian Life at the Old Castle (12 September, 11am): Explore the story of the Old Castle cottages through guided tours and family activities.
