<strong>Driver/Warehouse Operative – Temp to Perm</strong><br /><br /><strong>Bradford</strong><br /><strong>Days: £12.91ph | Nights: £14.82ph</strong><br /><strong>Temp to Perm | Minimum 3 shifts per week</strong><br /><strong>Paid induction from 30th September, with staggered taster/training days (Paid) leading to a full start from the end of October</strong><br /><br />We’re recruiting <strong>Warehouse Operatives</strong> for a major distribution operation supporting <strong>Boots UK</strong>.<br /><br />This is a hands-on role involving the <strong>loading, unloading, sorting and stacking of retail stock</strong> for delivery to Boots stores across <strong>Yorkshire, Manchester and Hull</strong>.<br /><br />You’ll also sort <strong>Click & Collect parcels</strong>, making sure they are correctly prepared and routed to the customer’s chosen Boots collection location. <strong>This is a warehouse-based role – there is no direct customer contact or customer handover.</strong><br /><br /><strong>Shifts and Pay Rates:</strong><br /><ul> <li><strong>Days:</strong> 6am–2pm | £12.91ph</li><li><strong>Nights:</strong> 10pm–6am | £14.82ph</li><li><strong>Minimum 3 shifts per week</strong></li><li><strong>Start plan:</strong> paid induction on 30th September, followed by paid taster sessions and training days over the following weeks</li><li>Full start date expected from the end of October, once workers have completed the introductory training period</li><li>Overtime available depending on business requirements, paid after <strong>37.5 hours</strong></li></ul> <strong>What You’ll Be Doing:</strong><br /><ul> <li>Loading and unloading stock across <strong>9 bays</strong></li><li>Stacking and sorting retail stock</li><li>Sorting Click & Collect parcels to the correct routes</li><li>Using <strong>manual pull pallet trucks</strong></li><li>Checking stock, codes and quantities for accuracy</li><li>Moving stock safely to the correct dispatch areas</li><li>Reporting damaged stock when required</li><li>Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe</li><li>Following all <strong>Health & Safety procedures</strong></li><li>Working to productivity and accuracy targets<strong></strong></li></ul> <strong>What We’re Looking For:</strong><br /><br />We need people who are <strong>reliable, hardworking and comfortable with physical work</strong>.<br />You should have:<br /><ul> <li>Good attention to detail and visual accuracy</li><li>Basic numeracy and confidence working with coded stock</li><li>The ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>A good approach to safety and following procedures</li><li>The ability to work in a busy, fast-paced warehouse</li><li>A willingness to get stuck in and work hard</li></ul> <strong>Driving Opportunities:</strong><br /><br />A <strong>full UK driving licence is desirable</strong> as there may be occasional opportunities to work as a <strong>Driver’s Mate</strong> or provide driving cover.<br /><br />Driving would be <strong>very rare and only as a last resort</strong>.
