Highly recommend NTW - professional service and high quality windows and doors done to a high standard. Brad and Steve were top notch - amazing work.

A review of my experience with Northern Trade Windows & a new £1800 front door installation. Pros - Friendly sales & office staff. Cons - Average quality door, hairs in paint finish, no end caps on drip bar, white screws on internal chrome handle. Door difficult to open/close as it is catching on striker plate. Protruding screw on striker plate has taken a chunk out of the door due to poor fit. Door installed over dislodged & loose tiles in porch (I had to fix this later), alarm contacts stuck on with double sided tape instead of screwed to frame. Black marker pen staining to internal white frame. After Sales - Office staff quick to respond to emails/phone calls, however don't expect anyone to call you back or attempt to remedy any faults with the installation. Very poor/no communication from the installation manager to whom all concerns are forwarded by office staff. I wrote a formal complaint outlining all the issues above. It seems the complaints procedure advertised on their website is meaningless as I am yet to be offered any kind of fix or goodwill from the complaints manager. Shocking service from what I thought was a reputable local firm. Edit - 10.6.24. Since this review, Northern Trade Windows have visited to address the issues reported with remedial works to be completed in due course. I will update the review once the works have been carried out. Edit - 22.6.24. Further to this review. Almost all remedial works were carried out to a good standard, except the repair to the gouge in the door. I was informed that the incorrect colour of repair kit had been sent in error and Matt would call and visit the following afternoon at some point to finish the job. Imagine my surprise (!) when I had no communication or indeed a visit the following day. Fortunately I had other work being carried out at home on the day, so it wasn’t wasted waiting in for nothing. As it stands, I still await the repair to be carried out. Edit - 3.7.24. Finally, to finish this review, the repair to the door has now been completed. Hopefully there will be no further issues going forward.

A local professional highly recommended window & door company . These guys are very highly trained skilled fitters who do an excellent job. Fast clean quality work .

We had our front door replaced by NTW. Customer Service is great, from recommendations during sales to handling of complaints. We had to wait 5 weeks for our door which is fine. After installation there unfortunately have been a few issues with the workmanship on the framework. Some chips and marks that shouldn't be left when we pay that much money. After emailing them they came back as soon as possible, acknowledged that things shouldn't have been left the way they did and rectified all the issues. Over the moon with our door and will probably use them again for new windows when we can afford it. 4 out of 5 stars because of the minor issues after installation

After sales is none existent, once you have bought the goods good look if anything is wrong with them, I've been buying from this company for 18 years, I don't know if they have changed ownership but have been fobbed of from day one, I bought a 1m wide composite door for a wheelchair access customer, the weight was tremendous & took 3 of us to get it fitted into place, I've fitted these doors many times & been fitting for over 20 years & never had any issues with the company in the past, (cut to the issue). The door is on full adjustment & still catches the frame on the top corner, i believe the actual door panel is too heavy for the pathetic hindges which were put on as they are starting to bend on the frame as though they are coming away, endless phone calls later still no joy, no one to come out & look at the problem. This is why I thing ownership has changed hands as any issues in the past were dealt with immediately. I'm taking my custom elsewhere from now obviously loyalty means nothing to these.
