Absolutely appalling experience with FMG Repairs from start to finish. After our car accident, we were left without a courtesy car for the best part of a month because FMG repeatedly pushed us to the bottom of the waiting list. Completely unacceptable when you rely on a vehicle day to day. The customer service throughout was shocking — dismissive, unhelpful and at times downright rude. In particular, dealing with someone called Julie was an unbelievably frustrating experience. Every interaction felt like we were an inconvenience rather than customers whose lives had been disrupted. To make matters worse, it took THREE MONTHS to repair the car. Communication was atrocious throughout. We were repeatedly given collection dates, only to then have to chase them ourselves and be rudely told the car wouldn’t be ready for “weeks.” No proactive updates, no accountability, no empathy. The entire process added unnecessary stress on top of an already difficult situation following a crash. Avoid this company like the plague. If you value communication, professionalism, or basic customer service, look elsewhere.
Super impressed with FMG Repair services. They replaced a damaged door and repaired a scratch on my Qashqai. They gave me a Fiat 500 courtesy car on my insurers instruction and when I expressed that I was struggling with it's size and my kids they actually prioritised my car and I had it back later that day. And it looked and smelt brand new.
Still awaiting confirmation for car to go in for the repairs but overall so far I can say a great service I pulled up for the work to be assessed and within 30 seconds of walking in the door I was seen straight away and away withing 10 minutes 🙃 gret customer service. Thanks guys
Terrible service especially by the female staff over the phone. Avoid this place at all costs. Even if your insurer pushes you to use them, insist on a different repairer. They are unprofessional, unreliable, and simply not worth the headache.
My car was issued to FMG via my insurance company as an approved supplier. My car had 2 issues which were a broken wingmirror and also dent in the side panel above wheel.. they collected it on a Thurs and it was delivered back to me the following Thurs. Very happy with the quick service and all staff I engaged with were polite.
