This experience gives you the freedom to explore Ferragudo from the water, without joining a guided group. The route starts on the calm Arade River, close to our shop, making it easy and accessible even for beginners. You can enjoy views of Ferragudo village, São João do Arade Fort, Praia Grande and quiet river beaches at your own pace. When sea conditions allow, the adventure can continue towards the ocean, passing Pintadinho Beach, Ponta do Altar Lighthouse and a beautiful sea cave with crystal-clear water. Before you start, our team will explain the route, safety rules and local tips, so you can enjoy a safe and independent kayak or SUP experience in Ferragudo.
