The neighbouring valley of Eskdale is 6.5 miles away where you can hop aboard the famous Ravenglass and Eskdale Steam Railway take a stroll along golden sands at Drigg Beach or visit the historic Muncaster Castle. And when you re feeling peckish the valley offers a wealth of friendly pubs and eateries to enjoy the nearest pub is only 2.5 miles from the cottage if you fancy a night off from cooking. Open the wooden picket gate and head inside this charming studio-style accommodation with its sloping ceilings and Velux windows. The open-plan layout which is all on one level features a living area with a TV and an inviting high quality L-shaped sofa that can be converted into a double bed with mattress topper using the bedding provided. A door leads from this kitchen area to the bathroom which features a WC and shower over the bath where you can look forward to a soothing soak after a day in the great outdoors. Outside the enclosed fenced garden boasts a generous lawn and is a lovely spot to unwind and soak up the far-reaching views of the surrounding fells.
